The Touchstone Yurt

Listening for a change ....

You can make use of our yurt ....

To celebrate and contemplate faith friendships.

This yurt is a pop-up intentional listening space, funded by Near Neighbours,

a Government funding stream for interfaith work.

All are welcome to take time to stop ... rest ... listen.

In July 2013, the Yurt was in the South Transept of St Paul’s Cathedral

for three days - and there

was free entry at the

South Entrance for those

visiting the Methodist Yurt!

See the Map of St Pauls to

see where we were.

For the following two days, the Yurt then moved to

Old Palace Yard, behind Westminster Abbey

- a 3 minute walk from Methodist Central Hall.

See the Map of the Old Palace Yard.

Later on in July the Yurt could be found at Stoke Newington High Street Methodist Church – an intentional Listening Place.

Let us know if you want us to bring the Touchstone yurt to your place – we would be glad to hear from you and to help you listen to whoever turns up. Interfaith work is all about peace-building and enabling safer spaces for truth telling, wherever we find ourselves.

Touchstone is a Methodist listening initiative based in a multicultural and economically deprived part of Bradford for over 20 years.
